This chapter reviews the strategy for the refinement of income poverty alleviation in China. An organic combination of subsistence assistance and improved income levels is the primary goal of the refinement of poverty alleviation at present in China. The strategic suggestions on refined income poverty alleviation focuses on three areas are discussed in the final section. The first one is about relief-based poverty alleviation; the second one focuses on the employment services; the third one is related to the technology.

This chapter reviews the strategy for the refinement of income poverty alleviation in China.
