Aerodynamic and Structural Overall Design of Grid Type Pressure Regulating Valve for Intermittent Trisonic Wind Tunnel

The pressure regulating valve is a critical component for flow field pressure regulation in grid-type tri-sonic wind tunnels. A grille-equipped DN1800mm annular clearance pressure regulating valve was designed to meet the specific pressure regulation requirements of such wind tunnels. Detailed research was conducted on the wind tunnel pressure regulating valve, covering aspects including aerodynamic design schemes, theoretical analysis and calculations, flow field simulation and analysis, structural analysis and optimization, actuator design, and noise reduction layout strategies. These efforts aimed to ensure that the wind tunnel’s flow field achieves advanced performance metrics stipulated by military standards (GJB).
