Identification of Fault Structure Based on 1D Anomaly Profile, Derivative Analysis of Geomagnetic Method, Lau Rakit Village, STM Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency
摘要
Research has been carried out to identify fault structures in Lau Rakit Village, STM Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency based on the 1D anomaly profile. Fault identification is urgently needed for earthquake disaster mitigation efforts. The fault structure can be analyzed using derivative analysis from geomagnetic data. The measurement of geomagnetic data was carried out with an area of 100 × 50 meters with a total of 25 measurement points. Based on the results of the derivative analysis, the SVD (Second Vertical Derivative) will be obtained, the maximum value and the minimum value that can be analyzed for the type of fault will be obtained. From the modeling carried out, it is suspected that the fault structure found to be more dominant is the type of descending/normal fault. This is because the maximum SVD absolute value is more basic than the minimum SVD absolute value The presence of fracture structure found fram FHD and SVD analyses lies at the boundary between high to low or medium magnetic anomalies.
