HDRIU-B: Hierarchical Data Rights Confirmation and Incremental Update Mechanism Based on NFT and SBT in Blockchain
摘要
As a new production factor, the value of data hinges on efficient data circulation and robust rights confirmation mechanisms. However, existing data rights confirmation schemes often struggle with insufficient security and low resource utilization during data updates. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a hierarchical data rights confirmation and incremental data update mechanism based on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) on the blockchain, named HDRIU-B. In HDRIU-B, data owners upload their data to the Inter Planetary File System (IPFS), and the Content Identifier (CID) generated for each piece of data in IPFS is bound to an NFT, enabling efficient management of data usage rights. To further clarify data ownership, users can bind existing NFTs to SBT. The core innovation of HDRIU-B lies in its incremental data update mechanism: when new NFTs are bound to the same SBT, it signifies an incremental update to the dataset which is bound to the SBT. Additionally, once an NFT is bound to an SBT, it cannot be bound to another SBT, ensuring data integrity and immutability. We conducted experiments to evaluate the gas consumption and time costs of the proposed scheme on the blockchain. The results show that HDRIU-B improves the efficiency of data update and resource utilization while ensuring data security and integrity. Compared with the traditional methods, the mechanism proposed in this paper reduces the time consumption from 6701ms to 2023ms when processing this task, achieving an efficiency improvement of approximately 69.8%.
