In this paper, the control method of hub load based on state switching is studied to solve the problem of hub load during helicopter flight. Firstly, a helicopter flight dynamics model coupled with the basic flight control system is established, and an inner-loop controller combining explicit model following control and robust control algorithm is built according to the helicopter flight characteristics. The state switching control parameters suitable for helicopter maneuvering flight are designed by using the state switching method based on gain scheduling, and a gain scheduling strategy based on control parameter and model parameter is formed. Finally, the load control effect is simulated and verified by helicopter forward speed command disturbance, which provides a direction for improving helicopter flight safety and supporting the design of helicopter control system.
