Research on the Unification Technology of Aviation Fasteners Based on the Euclidean Distance Algorithm

In order to address the issues such as the long-term lack of scientific theoretical references, objective and unified methodological guidance, and high-level technical basis for the unification of aviation fasteners, this study, based on the intuitiveness of the Euclidean distance algorithm and its application advantages in the engineering field for low-dimensional data scenarios, and aiming at the limitation of the Euclidean distance algorithm being sensitive to data scales, conducts engineering normalization and correction of the Euclidean distance algorithm by setting standard quantities. Furthermore, the similarity formula is represented in percentage terms, enabling the application of the corrected Euclidean distance algorithm in the similarity analysis of aviation fasteners and breaking through the technology of similarity analysis for aviation fasteners. Furthermore, focusing on similar aviation fasteners, an analysis index system and scoring criteria for the unification of aviation fasteners are designed from four aspects: versatility, advancement, maturity, and economy. Finally, a scientific and objective analysis method for the unification of aviation fastener products is developed through research, providing a scientific and objective theoretical method for the unification of aviation fasteners. It also offers a technical means to improve the “generalization, serialization, and modularization” level of aircraft, which is conducive to streamlining and reducing the variety and specifications of aviation fasteners, shrinking the scale of aircraft maintenance and support spare parts, and promoting the high-quality development of aircraft.
