After the pilot ejects emergently from the ejection seat, in order to avoid the flinging and hitting of the pilot’s lower limbs under the action of ejection overload and high-speed airflow blowing, the legs of the pilots need to be forcibly restrained on the seat (Su in Introduction to modern rocket ejection rescue technology. Aviation Industry Press, Beijing, 2014 [1]). At present, the leg restraints for pilots on domestic ejection seats mainly take two forms: leg hoops and leg guards. In the form of leg hoops, the pilot needs to wear the corresponding size of leg hoops first, and then pass the lock of the leg strap through the metal ring of the leg hoop; the leg strap of the leg guard form arranges the leg strap in a “loop” along the cockpit. When the pilot is driving normally, he puts his legs into the “loop” range surrounded by the leg strap directly, and the legs do not contact the leg restraint strap system of the seat during movement. Since the design of the leg strap in this form is closely related to the layout of the cockpit structure, it is necessary to consider the matching relationship between the length of the leg strap and the first-stage ejection power. The article analyzes the design status of the leg guard form at home and abroad, summarizes several design key points of the leg strap in the leg guard form, analyzes the relationships among them, and provides engineering experience for the design of the leg restraint strap system of the ejection seat.

摘要
