The tilt-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle is a new type of composite aircraft that combines the high-speed cruise capability of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles and the vertical takeoff and landing characteristics of unmanned helicopters. It has great practical value and is also an important component of the future development of unmanned aerial vehicle systems. Starting from military and civilian aspects, this article discusses the market demand for tiltrotor drones and combines the product positioning and development status of typical tiltrotor drone models abroad. It proposes the possible main ways for China to develop tiltrotor drones in the future and comprehensively analyzes the key technologies for the research and development of tiltrotor drones.
