Impact on Radial Distribution System by Simultaneous Allocation of Distributed Generators and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Electrical power is an essential part of our life. It is generated at generation station and must be distributed to every customer, for which distribution system is designed. The major losses have been encountered while distributing the power are namely real and reactive. The design of a distribution system needs to ensure minimum loss and improved voltage. To maintain the same, in this simulation study, an attempt has been made to ascertain the optimal locations for Distributed Generators (DGs) and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) under various scenarios. The PS optimization technique have been applied for the optimization of both DGs and EVCS respectively. The IEEE 33 bus radial distribution system (I33BRDS) results were analysed by employing the MATLAB application for different case studies.
