The ironsands studied in this work primarily consist of titanomagnetite (TTM, Fe3−xTixO4) and titanomagnetite-hematite (TTH, Fe2−yTiyO3) as the dominant mineral phases. The ironsands are largely composed of homogeneous particles with smooth surfaces and uniform elemental distribution (TTM), while some heterogeneous particles exhibit lamellar TTH phases precipitated on a TTM substrate.

摘要

The ironsands studied in this work primarily consist of titanomagnetite (TTM, Fe3−xTixO4) and titanomagnetite-hematite (TTH, Fe2−yTiyO3) as the dominant mineral phases. The ironsands are largely composed of homogeneous particles with smooth surfaces and uniform elemental distribution (TTM), while some heterogeneous particles exhibit lamellar TTH phases precipitated on a TTM substrate.
