Quantum Cryptography in Post Quantum Era-Challenges and Solutions
摘要
In this study, integration of quantum-resistant algorithms so as to face the technological advancements are presented. The Open Quantum Safe (OQS) project offers tools such as LIBOQS and Docker images for easy experimentation. But unfortunately, mainstream web browsers do not have native support for PQC; this leads to the necessity of custom builds like OQS Chrome. Configuration of cryptographic components including key exchange schemes, digital signatures, and cipher suites is part of the implementation process. Tools like OpenSSL allow creation of self-signed certificates and server configurations supporting PQC. Verification of employment of post-quantum algorithms in TLS sessions via packet examination is performed utilizing Wireshark. Implementation of PQC is a complicated process, yet the end users notice few variations. This reveals the seamless transition to security which is quantum-resilient almost transparently. However, obstacles are present among which are inclusion of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and PQC algorithms within a single shared environment.
