In this chapter, we look into some of the works done in the field of technology design and development for the Base of the Pyramid (BoP). A few technologies developed by the Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) of IIT Delhi for the BoP have also been introduced. They are projects undertaken as a part of demand-driven technology interventions in rural areas.
