In China’s existing large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, the operation decision-making at this stage relies on the established regulations and the knowledge and experience of the operation personnel, and the decision-making is still mainly based on the results of deterministic analysis, and the configuration of the risk management system is mainly aimed at the availability of the equipment or components, and in the case of the deterioration of the performance of a certain piece of equipment or component of the plant, the nuclear power plant is mainly recognized as the unavailability of the equipment in a conservative attitude. The nuclear power plant is mainly conservative attitude that the equipment is not available for analysis and processing, but the actual situation of the equipment can still complete the relevant tasks, too conservative operation will sometimes sacrifice the economy of the nuclear power plant, and may even affect the safety of the nuclear power plant. The results of this study show that the integrated operation decision-making method of nuclear power plant risk guidelines can improve the existing operation risk evaluation technology, realize the integrated operation decision-making by combining with simulation analysis, and provide decision-making technology support for the realization of “unmonitored and less manned” integrated operation of nuclear power plants.
