This paper focuses on the life assessment of relays used in nuclear power plants. As key electrical components in the instrumentation and control systems of nuclear power plants, relays experience aging of the coil and contact system over long-term use, which can degrade their performance and service life, potentially leading to system failures. To improve the safety of nuclear power plant operations, this study conducts accelerated aging tests on a specific relay model to assess its aging state and predict its remaining service life. The tests mainly focus on the relay coil, with aging manifesting primarily as the degradation of the coil’s insulation system and the aging of the contact spring reset mechanism.

摘要
