Thermal burns are devastating to the patient and results in sequelae leading to functional and psychological impairment. Inhalation burns constitute another mode of injury where mortality is very high. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has emerged as a boon to reduce healing time of the wounds, length of hospital stay, fluid requirements, and reduce mortality and morbidity.
