This proposed work presents a 2-element CPW-fed Multiple-input Multiple-output (MIMO) antenna for super-wide band application. The overall antenna design is motivated with T-shaped strip inserted in the U-shaped radiating patch of dimension 35 × 55 × 0.8 mm and is examined on FR4 substrate. A simple isolating element inserted between the patches improves the isolation. It also enhances the gain and makes the pattern directive. Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC) < 0.002 and Directive Gain (DG) nearly 10 dB is observed from the final MIMO antenna design.
