The project is based on implementing just-in-time manufacturing and automation in Indian manufacturing sector post Covid Scenario. In India, ineffective and current industrial methods consume more time led to lower productivity. A customer’s request for a product and its delivery are invariably separated by a sizable amount of time. All these lead to unsatisfied customer which is the problem statement of this project. An attempt is made to automate the customer ordering processing and produce then in real-time without human intervention using 3D printing technology, which is the objective of this study. For this, python scripts, REST API, and third-party 3D-printer controller are used. This process is completely opposite of the current manufacturing techniques used in majority of the Indian industries.
