This chapter briefly introduces common drug dosage forms, pharmaceutical excipients, manufacturing processes of oral solid dosage forms, the influence of active pharmaceutical ingredient properties on dosage forms and processes, quality requirements for drug dosage form design, and the application of artificial intelligence methods in drug dosage form design.
