摘要

Nanopesticides are a future technology to traditional pesticides and have been an emerging innovative technology in pest control. Compared to traditional pesticides, nanopesticides are more effective and specific and hence are a significant innovation in pest control. The formulations enable precise pest control with minimal chemical application by blending nanoscale materials, which enhance the delivery, stability, and bioavailability of active ingredients. This development can reduce such environmental effects as contamination and harm to unforeseen organisms as well as make pest control mechanisms more effective. This evaluates the present status of nanopesticides and their action mechanisms, such as increased penetration, regulated release, and extended action. The necessity for complete risk analyses and safety measures is done by the critical analysis of pivotal issues such as nanoparticle toxicity, persistence in the environment, and regulatory problems. Nanopesticides provide improved pest management, lowered chemical use, and improved yields. They also carry ecological hazards such as soil toxicity, water pollution, and damage to non-target species. Their long-term ecological consequence needs regulation and ecological application in nanopests. Environmental safety is necessary to ensure the proper use of nanopesticides. The balance between effectiveness, safety, and environmental stewardship, and the potential of nanopesticides to become a key component of sustainable agriculture. This chapter analyzes the position of nanopesticides in agriculture, including their environmental advantages, drawbacks, and benefits, such as precise pest control, chemical reduction, and enhanced crop yields, while considering possible risks for sustainable farming.
