The seminal tract consists of the seminal vesicles (SV), vas deferens (VD), and ejaculatory duct, which are critical urogenital organs. These structures can be assessed using various imaging modalities, including transrectal ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and vasoseminal vesiculography. Since the seminal tract derives from the mesonephric duct, congenital anomalies in the seminal tract are frequently associated with urinary tract abnormalities. Conditions such as ejaculatory duct obstruction, congenital absence of bilateral VD, and midline cysts can lead to infertility due to seminal tract obstruction. Inflammation within the seminal tracts often presents as diffuse wall thickening and enhancement of the seminal vesicle. Although primary tumors are rare, cystadenomas or adenocarcinomas can arise from the SV. Malignancies from adjacent organs, including the prostate, bladder, and rectum, can invade the SV. This chapter presents imaging findings of normal anatomy, congenital anomalies, inflammatory conditions, and tumors of the seminal tracts through various cases.

摘要
