The essence of education is the dissemination of knowledge and the enlightenment of wisdom. As an endogenous variable in education, artificial intelligence (AI) technology has altered how knowledge is produced and disseminated, as well as how individuals interact with each other and with knowledge, transforming society into a ‘human–machine–object’ triadic structure. Artificial intelligence has learned to perceive human behaviour and psychology accurately, collaborating with humans to build a foundation of knowledge in the pursuit of wisdom. It is founded on intelligent algorithms that simulate human thought, resonating with the development of computing power, data and education. This chapter discusses the innovation of AI in higher education from three perspectives: i) AI’s impact on knowledge management; ii) intelligent perception in teaching and learning; and iii) the teaching method of human–machine intelligence integration to provide new insights and ideas for higher education educators and learners.

摘要
