Development of a High-Pressure Temperature-Controlled Geotechnical Triaxial Testing System
摘要
The deep-water temperature and pressure environments and their variations significantly influence the mechanical properties of sediments. To enable laboratory experimental studies on deep-sea sediment soils, an independently developed high-pressure temperature-controlled geotechnical triaxial testing system capable of precise volumetric strain measurement has been established. Building upon conventional geotechnical stress-path triaxial testing systems, this innovative apparatus achieves uniform and accurate temperature control through a dual internal and external water bath circulation design. A dual-pressure chamber with internal and external pressure balance enables precise measurement of specimen volumetric strain under high-pressure stress loading and temperature-controlled conditions. The temperature control testing of the experimental system demonstrates that the developed high-pressure temperature-controlled triaxial experimental system can maintain precise and stable temperature control over extended periods. This experimental apparatus provides essential technical support for conducting deep-water soil mechanics research in laboratory settings.
