The EMOROBCARE project aims at developing a low-cost, expressive social robot designed to support therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This paper presents the system software design and development tools. We illustrate an example use case game that combines perception, speech, reasoning and expressive capabilities of the robot. Additional games will be developed through co-design with therapists in order to foster communication and emotional expression.
