Patient is a 62-year-old male. He started to experience mild pain around the waist about 2 months ago without clear causes. The pain worsened in the past 1 month with night pain. An exophytic mass noted at the superior pole of the left kidney on his PET-CT scan images with increased uptake and considered as aggressive neoplasm, likely renal cell cancer. Lytic bone destruction of L2 vertebral body noted with pathologic fracture and large soft tissue mass with increased uptake, highly suggestive of metastatic lesion.
