Due to the increasing need of public awareness for reducing global warming as well as the considerable increase in expenses while dealing with traditional sources of energy, many countries are encouraging to deliver latest policies for energy systems, encouraging the application of energy sources that can be renewed. Some sources of energy which are good for the environment are hydro, solar, wind, etc. These are prospective for using extensively. Merging such sources of energy with a contingency system, for creating a hybrid system, will generate a rational, sustainable, eco-friendly and consistent electricity supply wherever and whenever the need will arise. This method is better as depending on just a single system to supply energy is inappropriate. To meet all load needs with the least amount of investment and operating costs is the most important problem to handle while dealing with such hybrid system. Because of the widespread use of energy sources, numerous research has been conducted. During this research, different methods were used to ensure the right sizing and optimization of hybrid energy systems. The research here describes common procedures for choosing wind turbine sizes to ensure more renewable energy is used and the finances are better managed.
