This paper points at the low-altitude small Rotary-wing UAV detection problem, the research on UAV flight positioning based on sensor array was carried out to realize the orientation of UAV. Firstly, the design principle of the sensor array structure is given, then the actual sensor array structure is proposed, then the data acquisition method is introduced, and finally the direction finding method based on SRP-PHAT is introduced to establish a set of orientation system for detecting UAVs. Through the flight test experiments of the DJ-3 and Yu-2 UAV, relevant data were obtained, and the azimuth and pitch angles during flight and the error results when hovering were obtained. The results of the study lay the foundation for the acoustic testing of UAV.
