Early detection and rapid response are essential for effective fire safety management. This paper presents an advanced fire detection and suppression system that integrates cutting-edge technologies to address both visible and non-visible fire threats. For visible fires, the system employs CCTV cameras coupled with the YOLOv5 object detection algorithm to accurately identify fire outbreaks. Upon detection, it immediately triggers an alarm, alerts security personnel, pinpoints the fire’s exact location, and directs a suppression nozzle for swift and targeted extinguishment during the initial combustion stage. To address non-visible fires, the system incorporates strategically placed flame and smoke sensors that detect early signs of fire. In such cases, an alarm is activated, and the system promptly releases a fire-suppressing gas to flood the area, effectively halting fire progression. By integrating both visual and sensor-based detection methods, the system ensures comprehensive fire protection and an automated, timely response. This dual detection strategy significantly reduces the risk of property damage, injuries, and fatalities. The system’s combination of precision, automation, and intelligent detection marks a substantial advancement in modern fire safety solutions.

摘要
