The translation and dissemination of the Arabic version of Mao’s works, include three development stages for Selected Works of Mao Zedong. For the first time, distribution numbers, readers letters related to Arabic versions of Mao’s works has been revealed, and it showcased interrelated connection between Arabic version’s publishing and the pursuit of independence(both politically and economically), with anti-colonialism in Arabic world. Due to the reason that translation, publication and dissemination of Mao’s works has became core events between China and Arabic world’s economic and cultural exchange. I also introduced background behind the relationships between Chinese Communist Party and the Arabic leftist parites.
