We study the customer’s equilibrium strategy in a finite capacity Markovian queue with queue abandonment and delayed observation. The system is initially unobservable to arriving customers, but the system administrator periodically provides information through announcements. Additionally, when a customer’s service needs expire, he can abandon the queue. We determine the customer’s equilibrium joining and reneging strategies. Various numerical experiments offer interesting and significant insights into the model.
