Artificial intelligence (AI) involves the development of systems or devices that simulate human intelligence. It encompasses a range of technologies which has real-world implications, including in the field of medicine. AI has also made remarkable progress in education over the past decades. The introduction of AI into medical education marks a major shift, particularly within psychiatry. This chapter aims to present a comprehensive evaluation of how AI technologies can be effectively used to enhance psychiatry teaching and training. It will examine how these tools can address current training gaps, offer scalable and adaptive learning experiences, and ultimately equip future mental health professionals to navigate the increasing complexity of modern psychiatric care. Additionally, the role of AI in assessment and medical administration will also be explored. While AI holds tremendous promise for transforming medical education, it is important to acknowledge several legal, ethical, and administrative challenges that need to be promptly addressed for its effective integration.
