The literature review aims to analyse the characteristics of different bone grafts. The goal is to identify which option can give the optimal result for a patient being treated for a bone defect. During the period 1970–1980, I realized that there was a great bias against non-vascularized fibular grafts. However, I continued my presentations at various fora and published my work on improved NVFG in ACE Journals. The journey for an innovator is not easy.

摘要
