Labor education serves the real production and life, and its content and form evolve with the changes of the times. The revolutionary progress of artificial intelligence has profoundly changed the reality of labor practices. Labor education in vocational schools should be reformed to meet the needs of the times, adapt to the requirements of production forms under the intervention of artificial intelligence, improve the quality of skill training content, change the education mode, and cultivate workers with innovative consciousness and independent initiative in the new era. In the reform, it is necessary to achieve a transition of the integration form from external intervention to comprehensive deep embedding, and realize the deep integration of artificial intelligence and labor education in vocational schools. The reform of labor education in the era of artificial intelligence should always adhere to highlighting the subjectivity of workers, clarify the combination of physical and application of artificial intelligence embedded in labor education, emphasize the auxiliary positioning of artificial intelligence, and then build a corresponding curriculum system on this basis, innovate teaching methods, adjust practical training content, improve teachers’ literacy, and reform the evaluation system. In the transformation of the era of artificial intelligence, the subjectivity of educatees in vocational schools’ labor education should be highlighted, so that artificial intelligence can serve the further freedom and liberation of human beings.
