In contrast to the case of discrete spins, in systems with continuous variables, such as XY and Heisenberg spins, frustration leads to non-collinear ground-state spin configurations that arise as a compromise between competing interactions. In this chapter, we study the ground-state configurations and their properties at finite temperatures on the antiferromagnetic triangular lattice (AFT) and the kagome lattice for continuous variables.
