For motors using permanent magnets (PM), failures are often attributed to mechanical issues or demagnetization. This study presents a solution that utilizes simulation software to analyze motor performance under the influence of demagnetization. Ansys Maxwell is employed to assess the demagnetization effect, while Ansys Fluent is used to evaluate the effectiveness of different cooling methods.
