This research addresses the crucial need for continuous improvement in the electronics manufacturing systems by employing Systematic Layout Planning within a Lean Manufacturing framework to optimize production processes at an electronics manufacturing facility. The study encompasses the design of a novel process flow and a redesigned facility layout, explicitly considering the integration of the new line within the existing factory environment. Rigorous mathematical methods and production simulations validated the proposed changes, with on-site measurements providing final verification. The implemented optimizations resulted in a 5.36% average productivity increase and a 42% reduction in process time.

摘要

This research addresses the crucial need for continuous improvement in the electronics manufacturing systems by employing Systematic Layout Planning within a Lean Manufacturing framework to optimize production processes at an electronics manufacturing facility. The study encompasses the design of a novel process flow and a redesigned facility layout, explicitly considering the integration of the new line within the existing factory environment. Rigorous mathematical methods and production simulations validated the proposed changes, with on-site measurements providing final verification. The implemented optimizations resulted in a 5.36% average productivity increase and a 42% reduction in process time.
