Magnetic flux leakage (MFL) detection is one of the most popular non-destructive testing methods of pipeline which uses magnetic sensitive sensors to detect the magnetic leakage field caused by defects. Firstly, this paper introduces the principles, signal characteristics and measurement system of MFL detection. Next, this paper describes three MFL equipment and experimental results for different pipes.
