Automation of Tri-axis Antenna Control Servo System
摘要
A tri-axis antenna pedestal and control system for tracking and data reception from LEO (low earth orbit) remote sensing satellites was developed by NRSC (National Remote Sensing Centre) at IMGEOS (Integrated Multi-mission Ground-segment for Earth Observation Satellites) facility Shadnagar, Hyderabad, and Jodhpur ground station. The three-axis antenna offers many advantages over traditional two-axis antenna and enables more accurate tracking and reliable data reception. The software for this tri-axis ACSS (Antenna Control Servo System) facilitates complete automation of ground station operations, i.e., implementation of servo modes and safety interlocks; prepass configuration and satellite pass tracking (program and auto mode) in real time, monitoring and control of all servo and RF subsystems. This software is easily adaptable to cater for the present and future mission requirements.
