Establishing a parametric model of the manipulator and selectinghigh-sensitivity parameters through the sensitivity analysis of all the parametersare essential for improving the overall performance of the pneumatic manipulator. The corresponding optimization algorithm can then be used to optimize the target. Due to the particularity of the structure and material of the pneumatic softmanipulator, the present simulation and optimization method for the traditional airbag is not suitable for the pneumatic soft manipulator. The specific method is needed in this issue to optimize the motion and mechanical performances of this manipulator.
