Dynamic Analysis of the Train-Track-Bridge System in Curved Sections

High-speed railways have numerous bridges located in curved sections. When trains navigate through curves, the centrifugal forces further amplify the spatial dynamic responses of the train-track system, which may adversely affect passenger comfort and operational safety. This chapter first analyzes the dynamic behavior characteristics of the train-track-bridge system in curved sections. Secondly, it introduces a case study on the performance verification of the train-track-bridge dynamic system under the condition of reverse curves and short tangents on the Taiyuan-Jiaozuo Railway.
