With the rapid development of fintech, its role as a technology-driven financial innovation tool has gradually become the core driver of corporate digital transformation. Based on a sample of listed companies, this study uses Baidu search index to construct fintech indicators and empirically analyze the impact of fintech on corporate digital transformation. The data analysis shows that fintech promotes corporate digital transformation. Meanwhile, this conclusion still holds after various robustness tests such as replacing variables and changing models. This study is conducive to understanding how financial innovation empowers the real economy to move towards digitalization.
