Archive provenance is a crucial aspect of ensuring the authenticity and security of information. In this paper, we introduces a blockchain-based electronic archive version traceability and management method. The method involves establishing a blockchain system architecture that includes archive information owner (AIO), visitor (AIV), and authorizing agency (AA) of electronic archives, enabling the desensitized encryption of archive information and the direct encryption of structured data. The storage of electronic archive information is completed through blockchain operations, ensuring transparency and traceability. The system is implemented with interplanetary file system (IPFS) and perform well in Chongqing municipal planning and natural resources archives.
