With the rapid development of information technology, augmented reality (AR) technology, as a new educational tool, is gradually penetrating into the field of preschool, bringing revolutionary changes to the traditional teaching mode. This paper explores how AR technology can help children to realize immersive learning practices and systematically analyzes how AR technology can promote children’s cognitive development, emotional participation, and social interaction. This study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, including observation, interviews, and questionnaires, to collect feedback from children and parents. The study found that AR technology can provide rich visual and auditory stimuli, enhancing children’s curiosity and exploration and thus improving learning motivation and participation.
