Study of Transverse Polarization Asymmetry of \(\varLambda _b\rightarrow nl^+ l^-\) Decays with Non-Universal \(Z'\) Model
摘要
Baryonic decays involving the \(b \rightarrow d\) quark transition are very sensitive to new physics (NP) effects. Recent experimental observations of the \(\varLambda _b^0 \rightarrow pK^- \mu ^+ \mu ^-\) decay motivate theorists to study baryonic decays [1]. In this work, we intend to study \(\varLambda _b \rightarrow n l^+ l^-\) decays in the non-universal \(Z'\) model. We estimate the transverse polarization asymmetry for \(\varLambda _b \rightarrow n l^+ l^-\) decays. To determine new physics effects, we use quark coupling from \(B_d^0 - \overline{B}_d^0\) mixing. We hope these results will help the experimental community explore these kinds of decays at the LHCb/Belle II detector in the near future.
