In this manuscript, we will discuss the action of a simplified version of electroweak theory with reference to the principle of general covariance. We will discuss a modified U(1) chiral gauge symmetry present in the Lagrangian density. We will also show that anomalies in the axial vector currents may be associated with the requirement of general covariance and don’t necessarily imply breakdown of gauge invariance at the quantum level.

摘要

In this manuscript, we will discuss the action of a simplified version of electroweak theory with reference to the principle of general covariance. We will discuss a modified U(1) chiral gauge symmetry present in the Lagrangian density. We will also show that anomalies in the axial vector currents may be associated with the requirement of general covariance and don’t necessarily imply breakdown of gauge invariance at the quantum level.
