We study the influence of equilibrium and adiabatic sound speeds on neutron star (NS) mass-radius relations, stability and f-mode oscillations using SINPA (hadronic) and Gibbs (hybrid) equation of state (EOS) models. We find that consideration of the adiabatic sound speed significantly affects these properties. These findings emphasize the importance of sound speed effects on NS stability and provide valuable constraints on the composition and structure of NSs.
