Information Scrambling with 4–Form Fields

Recent studies have shown that the late–time behavior of out–of–time–ordered correlators (OTOCs) in certain holographic theories with the U(1) conserved current for gauge fields exhibits diffusive behavior at late times. In this work, we extend this observation to conserved currents corresponding to 3–form symmetries for 4–form antisymmetric C–fields. We analyze the late–time behavior of the OTOCs involving the corresponding conserved U(1) current operators in a seven–dimensional AdS–Schwarzschild black hole background and observe that the OTOC decays to zero in power–law fashion.
