Bremsstrahlung Corrections To The Lepton-Proton Scattering In Effective Field Theory
摘要
We present a theoretical framework and numerical analysis of soft-photon emission in lepton and antilepton scattering with protons at the proposed MUSE experiment kinematics (we consider the maximal value of the proposed incident lepton beam momentum of \(p_l =\) 210 MeV). We have considered the soft-photon bremsstrahlung process and evaluated the bremsstrahlung contribution (real photon emission i.e. \(l^\pm (p_l) + p(P_p) \rightarrow l^\pm (p_l^\prime )+ p(P_p^\prime )+ \gamma (k);(l = e/\mu )\) ) to the elastic lepton-proton scattering process using Heavy baryon Chiral Perturbation Theory, a low-energy effective field theory for QCD.
