Following the downfall of the “Gang of Four” and, more significantly, after the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chinese educational science witnessed remarkable advancements. The restoration of People’s Education and the establishment of Educational Research paved the way for the emergence of a series of highly influential theoretical periodicals, including China Higher Education, Journal of the Chinese Society of Education, Education Review, Comparative Education Review, and Studies in Foreign Education. Concurrently, numerous foreign educational theory books were translated and disseminated within China.
