Ancient Chinese Thoughts on Teaching
摘要
Teaching stands as the most foundational approach to implementing holistic education. In accordance with modern teaching theories, teaching is an educational endeavor where educators, guided by specific educational objectives and grounded in the laws of students’ physical and mental development, systematically and purposefully facilitate students’ acquisition of fundamental scientific and cultural knowledge and mastery of corresponding basic skills. Simultaneously, this process encompasses the cultivation of students’ intelligence and creativity, enhancement of their physical fitness, development of aesthetic sensibilities, and shaping of moral characters.
