Among the many safety problems in the field of ships, personal safety due to mooring rope accidents during mooring operations is particularly prominent. In the daily use of the mooring rope, there are many factors that affect the quality of the mooring rope and cause it to break. For mooring safety, the establishment of a scientific and reliable safety evaluation and management method for mooring ropes can prevent and resolve major mooring risks at a systematic level, safeguard the lives and health of crew members, and avoid unnecessary losses. Therefore, it is of great significance to systematically analyze the mooring rope breakage factors to prevent mooring rope accidents. The purpose of this paper is to develop a practical and versatile evaluation management system through ASP.NET technology and database technology on the basis of the research on the safety evaluation system of mooring ropes from different perspectives, which can effectively help the operators to evaluate the safety performance of mooring ropes, improve the management of mooring ropes by shipowners, shipyards or ship management companies, and reduce the maintenance cost.
